It is HOT yall, so playtime outside is nonexistent. So we headed
to the Children’s Aquarium in Fair Park. This aquarium is small but perfect for
little ones. Plus it is cheap and a good way to get out of the house for an
hour or so. So you may be thinking, why
are you are taking a baby to an aquarium?
Let me tell yall, this kid was all about IT and enjoyed watching
everything. He loves to be out and about
and loves to watch fish/people/dogs/etc. We try to go stroller free when possible it is
less hassle and easier to get around.
Luckily, I have finally found a baby carrier that Max does not mind and
one that he can sit in for long periods of time. Walking around the aquarium with max close to
my chest and Mark by my side was the best way to spend a Saturday. Both Mark and I enjoyed watching the fish
swim carefree in their tanks. It made us
both want a fish tank so BAD!
If we had to describe Max as a fish he would be a piranha fish. He is so aggressive when it is time for him to eat from his bottle. It is adorable how he goes in for the kill and latches on to the bottle.
Sarah’s Fav: Mr. Sea
turtle and his buddy {not sure what type of fish it was}. Mr. Sea turtle was injured
in netting and his right fin’s had to be amputatedL. His fish buddy stays below him to help assist
him {push’s him up} to get air. I could
have watched these two for hours.
Mark’s Fav: I enjoyed the Shark Tank (sans Mark Cuban). We got lots of pictures, and it was great being
so close to them. I liked seeing the
cousins of the Hammerhead shark. I think
they were called Crabcrushers. They have
their eyes on each end of their snout, like a Hammerhead. I also liked getting Max a stuffed Turtle.
Here are some pictures of our day. And next time you see a plastic bag floating
around, please pick it up! Sea turtles
mistaken the plastic bags for jelly fish and choke on them. That breaks my
heart.
Love the Arnold's
