Max has only been a part of our family for four and half months and it feels like we have known him for a lifetime. We can’t imagine this world without him and his sweet adorable face. He is such a happy baby as long as he is not hungry then he turns into MAD MAX. He still is not rolling over yet but he is getting so close. He likes to give his daddy high fives, and he likes to grab mommy’s hair and not let go. Whatever is in reach, he’s going to grab. He loves to grab his animal friends on his activity mat (Thanks mama jane!) He also loves putting everything in his mouth except his pacifier which he is constantly spitting onto the floor.
His smile is contagious and loves to laugh at silly sounds. We think he has such a great personality and he can’t wait to talk to us. Talk about talking, this boy loves to talk. He loves to talk at 4am in the morning and all day long. He recently started to just scream and then laugh. This is one silly boy.
We’ve enjoyed becoming Max’s personal trainer. When we were at the doctor, she stood him up and his legs were like jelly. She told us it’s time to improve his leg strength. So we went straight to work. We’ve got him on a high protein diet (milk 8 times a day) and he’s really working the bike and leg press machine. Realize that the bike is just us grabbing his legs, but we have discovered he likes going forward better than backwards. The leg press machine is daddy’s hands with JUST the right amount of resistance. We think he could have been in London for the Olympics, but we forgot to get him a passport. Oh well, maybe 2016 when he becomes the youngest swimmer in Olympian history. Watch out Michael Phelps! Seriously, for now we would just settle for a roll-over.
ENJOY
