This pop maker needs to be apart of the Arnold house pronto!  How cool is this little machine, it makes Popsicles in seven minutes. How fun will this be when Max is older.  There are a lot of cool recipes out there like: Grilled Peaches + Peaches and Cream Popsicles, Mocha Popsicles, and for fall what about a Pumpkin Spice Latte Pop.  You get the idea, there are tons and tons of different Popsicle creations.  I would want to try a  Basil + Peach+ Green Tea mixture.  The only downside you cannot mix alcohol into the Popsicles {for adults of course}.





Olympics 2012

I don't know about you, but I am getting sad the Olympics are coming to an end.  I have really enjoyed the Olympics this year and I am going to miss having it on our TV 24/7.  I have cried numerous times hearing the stories of many of these athletes. Their dedication and hard work is unbelievable. These photos are amazing and capture such emotion. See more here.





Hangin with the Baby Peeps

Sunday was a very exciting day for Max, he had his first play date!  My friend Kristy and Chad so kindly hosted an awesome "play date" for both little and big kiddos.  Kristy and Chad know how to host an event. The big kids got to enjoy some yummy pulled pork sliders, chips and homemade salsa. My belly was full and my calorie count was out of control. Max loved playing with sweet Samantha and baby boy Bradley. Sam was really showing off for the boys, I wish I had video of her in her jumperoo, that girl likes to jump!  She was sweet to let Max play with all of her stuff.  Sam really loved Max at one point she was sucking on his fingers {hilarious}. Bradley was just as sweet, for only being 3months he hung like a pro. Max totally become BFF's with his new friends.

WHEELS

Look at max’s new ride {coming soon}!  My Uncle Bud and Aunt Karen have generously given max this awesome wagon.  He is going to have a blast going on adventures on his new wheels.  And isn’t Breeze the dog just adorable!  This is one smart dog, she can heard cows, people, goats and probably everything in between.  The Farm is a special place and I can’t wait to take max there to explore and try new things.  Mark will tell you, there is always something new to experience {cutting cow testicles} ha.

Case of the Mondays

another monday and another week.I am notorious about complaining about mondays.today mark reminded me how mondays can be a drag, but how lucky are we to wake up and have a job, a healthy baby, a beautiful house and wonderful extended family. his pep talk got me refreshed for the week. it is so easy to complain/whine/be negative especially about mondays, but when I do it takes away from all the positive energy that surrounds me on a daily basis. So today I rocked monday and will continue to rock the rest of this week.  I may need a few pep talks from mark and caffeine to keep this goin, but I dig it so far.

Things we are looking forward too:
Mama Jane is coming into town this week. YAY
Grams is coming the following week. another YAY
I am hosting a baby shower for my dear friend Erica and her soon to be baby girl.  
Going to San Antonio to see my dear friend Vicki and her new baby boy.
We are going to Atlanta to see Eric and pregnant Aleida {we will find out what they are having the day we get there, I can't wait!}
And in September Grandpa and Luv will be coming to watch max while we go to mexico. YAY YAY YAY.

happy saturday everyone!  max has been so excited about the olympics. all of TEAM USA is amazing. enjoy. 

another year

Today I turn 32.  I am married to the best man alive.  I have the most adorable healthy child. How did I get so lucky in life? I don’t worry about growing older, I embrace what I have to look forward too! Bring it 32!
